1)      On isotopic techniques for Rb, Sr, K, Ar, U, Th by using TIMS or gas MS and their application on geological timing based on 87Rb-87Sr, 40K-40Ar, 234U–230Th.
2)      On isotopic techniques for Li, Ce, Br, Re, Ir by using TIMS and their application on determination of atomic weight.
3)      On isotopic techniques for B, Cl by using TIMS and their application on geochemistry of salt lakes and ocean.
4)  On C, N,O and H isotopic geochemistry by using IRMS.
 
Research interests: To understand the C, N cycle of atmosphere, plant and soil biogeochemistry process in arid area by using stable isotopes.
To understand the paleoclimate and paleoecological system through organic biomarkers and their isotopic records preserved in soils and fossils.
To understand boron isotopic fractionation of terrestrial ecosystem and ocean bio-carbonate as well as their application on paleoclimate.
